rant galore

yeah so i said on my last post that id elaborate my crazy week last week which is really not that crazy but its still crazy enough if you're as boring as a blackboard. okay whatever. im just blabbing here.

but  anyway, i don't have the pix yet (help kuya noel upload them naahh pls, now na ah…*wink) and since im such a tease, i won't elaborate yet because id rather make kwento with pictures to go with it.

gah. i sound like a pathetic, konyo-speaking colegiala (no offense to all konyo-speaking colegialas out there) but im just writing (or typing) out of spontaneity here which is the after effect of being overworked but underpaid. but that's not the topic.

thing is, the days that followed after posting my teaser (daw) is that a couple occurrences happened that took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions.

i was angry like a raging bull. then the next day, i was so happy i could dance around in a pink tutu to the tune of The Nutcracker (well not literally)!

incident 1: well on my last post i noted that i was able to put together a baby thesis in 3 days. that was my sis' paper and i helped her finish it 100% of the way. she's graduating from high school this month. i offered to help her with the paper and that it would be my graduation gift to her (o di ba tipid?). i was so effing proud of myself when we finished it. and guess what happened after she passed it to her teacher? Copy Paste daw yung putanginang thesis? what the fuck?! i was hysterical! what are footnotes for? and bibiliography? and all those fancy stuff you include on your research paper to ensure that it is accurately referenced? i don't wanna sound so yabang but  my college thesis was 300 pages thick excluding the index and stuff. finished it myself. and a freakin' copy of it is now sitting comfortably at the Unpublished Section of the Saint Louis University Library! tapos sasabihin nya Copy Paste lang daw yang lecheng baby thesis na yan?! she can kiss my ass! so what did i do? medyo ni-revise ko sya and threatened to go straight to the Principal because (1) she has no right to say that the paper was a Copy Pasted because it was perfectly referenced aka. footnoted, (2) what now? she's accusing us of Plagiarism? where's her fuckin' evidence?, (3) to tell that a student's superb paperwork is just a Copy Paste is as good as saying that the student is not good enough to produce such paperwork. ano sya? insecure lang sya noh!!! arrggghhh!!!

incident 2:  so there's a new policy here in the office na dapat 2 weeks in advance ang filing ng vacation leaves because they'll have to determine if there'll be available slots (as if naman 1 person goin on a 3-day leave would make a difference on our Service Level!). eh sa i always forget about filing my supposed to be 3-day leave 2 weeks in advance cuz i have a life noh, i don't loiter around the office before and after shift like some people i know…harhar. nway, so my Be asked me bout 3 days ago kung okay na my vacation leave para wala na hassle, and that's when i realized that my leave forms' been gathering dust at the bottom of my desk for almost 2 weeks already. lagot na. first day of my attempt to file it was on the 7th (and the date for the leave would be from march 18-20). my Coach tried to file it with MOD (Manager on Duty) cuz they would view (daw, as if naman talaga) if there'll be available slots for me. guess what? wala na daw dun sa date na gusto ko, meron na lang is from the 22nd onwards. are you fuckin kidding me?! ano ka? nananadya?! shet talaga. so bad trip ako the whole day, i was so pissed i was literally hissing at all my customers even those who are trying hard to make rapport with me. at the end of the day, i was able to catch up with a former batch mate who is also a MOD and she informed me that if i could get an SOM (Senior Operations Manager) to sign my leave form then it'll be okay with MOD na. *insert loud sigh of relief here* the next day, i jetted towards a good (as in veeerrryyyy good) friend of mine who happens to have been promoted to SOM a few months ago and voila, MOD suddenly REALIZED that there are still available slots on the dates i requested for. yeah right. so who says sa gobyerno lang may RED TAPE???!!! but whatever, my leave's been approved! yiheeee!

pakshet ang crazy talaga minsan ng buhay. yeah anyway il go na at baka kung ano pa masabi ko ulit dito.
