1 year blogsary

my blog is officially 1 year old last september. its already october and it sucks that im only posting this now…oh well.

anyway, my blog turning 1 year is a big event for me because ive never ever in the past years been able to maintain a blogsite this long. and im just so ecstatic about it. i know that ive never really taken much political or socio-economic issues into my posts or written about gut-wrenching realities happening around me and there are 2 reasons why:

first, i blog at the office most of the time during the mundane and dull hours when i feel like getting sick with just the thought of having to go through another fruitless day of my life and the end result would be me in my most non-responsive state, thus, you cannot expect any article imbedded with intellect to be published on a weekly basis.

second, ive been crowned drama queen by some unknown entities that only exist on my most vivid imagination, thus, i end up whining and ranting and raving and throwing tantrums on my posts. that, or you would read about how elated or excited or me-spinning-cartwheels-with-happiness due to simple joys like a bar of chocolate given as a peace offering or a simple hug or expression of love given out by my personal shock absorber (a.k.a geebee).

i had my bouts of craziness and most of the time you’ll read about how sick i am (of asthma, of my job, of my present state, of my life, of the world…) but i always manage to get hold of the silver lining beneath the stormy clouds. i always manage to get hold of a single ray of sunlight that eventually carries me to happier grounds.

and yes, i might end up really stuck to this blogsite because i just realized how important it has become. im a hard-core activist/writer at heart and it surprises people to read chummyness and sometimes, effing sappiness on my posts…not the college-writer-lashing-out-at-tuition-fee-increases-and-students-rights-being-violated…

i dunno…

its like…whatever things i posted here is not that me but definitely very me.
